Hello and welcome to our new website!

As I sit writing, a copy of our local Village People magazine has just plopped on to the door mat and just looking through it confirms the theory that your own home territory is not always fully appreciated as an area of interest. www.village-people.info

Just flicking through, there is a wealth of fantastic places and things to do in the area in the forth-coming months.

For instance: On Saturday 12th September stage seven of the Tour of Britain cycling event comes to our region as it takes in Old Buckenham – just up the road. We can see the world’s best riders racing on our doorsteps! www.facebook.com/oldbuckenham.tour

Norwich Food and Drink Festival is in the City on September 13th and appearing will be the Sausage King Stephen Plume. www.sausagefans.co.uk

These two diverse events are just a fraction of what’s going on in our area – Eye Church Art Show (28th-31st August), Little Ellingham Vintage Working Show (8th-9th August), Wicklewood and Hempnall windmill openings, Old Buckenham Air Show, Summer Holiday Activities practically every day at Redgrave & Lopham Fen, Summer Fetes galore alongside the big attractions such as Banham Zoo, Bloom’s of Bressingham, the English Whisky Distillery and Henry Watson Pottery and all within a short driving distance of Inglewood House!
